Workshop: Podcast Production with “Doctor it!”

Are you passionate about research, academia, and the pursuit of knowledge? Do you want to reach out to a wider audience and make a meaningful impact with your ideas? Do you want to join a vibrant and creative group of PhD students?

Then we would like to invite you to our workshop Podcast Production with Doctor it! The podcast of PhD candidates in the humanities and the social sciences at the University of Vienna. It is designed for doctoral candidates who are eager to venture into the world of podcasting. This workshop will not only introduce you to our engaging podcast but also equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to produce a podcast.

  • Hands on: how to produce, host and edit an episode of “Doctor it!”
  • What’s on air in the winter semester of 2024/2025? Developing a semester plan

Venue: Conference Room of the Faculty of Social Sciences (Room C628A), Staircase III, 6th Floor, Neues Institutsgebäude (NIG), Universitätsstraße 7, 1010 Vienna

Registration: Please submit a paragraph about who you are and why you want to participate in the workshop to vds-sosci@univie.ac.at by 31 July 2024. Participants will be selected based on their motivation to join the workshop and informed after the registration deadline.
