Grant Proposal Writing for Late PhDs and Early Postdocs in the Social Sciences

This workshop covers national and international funding opportunities for early postdocs with a particular focus on how to approach the application process with a social science background. Trainers will outline the differences between the major fellowship programmes for early postdocs such as the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, the Erwin Schrödinger Fellowship or the Hertha Firnberg Programme and provide general advice on the proposal writing process. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to talk to successful applicants of the above-mentioned funding schemes about their experiences during the application writing process and the fellowship.
